What are photochromic lenses?

How fast do photochromic lenses change?

They darken in sunlight within a minute or so and clear back indoors within a few minutes.

Will photochromic lenses darken inside a car?

Mostly no. Modern windshields block UV light which is what triggers the darkening. If sun protection while driving is the main need, polarized sunglasses are the better call. Easysight has both.
